I have heard most of my life that you should limit your egg intake. Mainly because they are bad for your heart. High in cholesterol you know. Something that tastes so good and will go with several dishes is bad for you if not taken in moderation. Shucks!! Then I stumbled on this article. But then, they tell you this is good for you and someone else comes along and says that is bad for you! Drives me crazy!!

After eating up these articles, pun intended, I have a better understanding that there is a God. I can enjoy my eggs with an enjoyable side, such as bacon or sausage or ham or sausage gravy or toast with jam. The delectable combinations seem to be endless.
In fact, one large hard-boiled egg contains:
- Vitamin A: 6% of the RDA
- Folate: 5% of the RDA
- Vitamin B5: 7% of the RDA
- Vitamin B12: 9% of the RDA
- Vitamin B2: 15% of the RDA
- Phosphorus: 9% of the RDA
- Selenium: 22% of the RDA
- Eggs also contain decent amounts of vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin B6, calcium and zinc
